Considering it's a twin board, I'd assume you'll want to ride switch. 15/-15 duck stance is excellent for that.

As for waxing, some say do wax it and some say don't. I say do it because factory wax is (generally) made to keep the board looking fresh in the shop and not to ride down the mountain.

A buddy of mine took his new custom out for 7 trips before waxing it while my wax came off after 2 runs. Your call.

Waxing is 15$ at the resort and 50 cents if you do it yourself.
