Howdy all! I'm Dave from the Chicago burbs. I've only been boarding a few times, but am looking to keep going even though everytime I've gone I've hurt something. Screwed up ankle falling after getting off the lift chair, cracked rib when I got some decent speed going down the hill and ended up falling right on my ipod, and had my knee messed up a bit when some bastard kid let his board go and it shot right into the side of my knee. Anyway, never say die.

Currently I have a Burton Canyon 'board (supposedly it's a Custom in cheap clothing). I still need boots and bindings, tho. Mostly looking to do freeride. Looking at K2 Maysis boots and thinking about Flow FR's or maybe a set of the new Rome bindings but I don't remember the name(Arsenal maybe?).

Anyway, looking forward to learning some stuff here, getting some advice and when I can, offering some advice.
