Default Red Bull Rhythm Section Event @ Holiday Valley

Red Bull Rhythm Section Rocks into Holiday Valley for Extreme Winter Sports Challenge on January 26th

Red Bull Rhythm Section is the ultimate fusion of Rock’n’Roll and Snowboarding. The16-feature course challenges riders to hit up a course constructed around the notes of a classic Rock anthem. The course includes a stage dive drop in, jumps, rails, boxes, barrels, spines, and a wall ride. Each feature mimics notes of the song as they move across the page of sheet music. Music is such an intrinsic part of the Snowboarding scene, and buzz is building as riders are stoked at the chance to perform on a Rhythm Section course for the first time in Western New York. Welcome to Holiday Valley

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Resort Services Center, followed by jam sessions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and an awards party at 5 p.m. The event costs $45 for participants, to cover the event fee, lift ticket and food at the awards party. For Holiday Valley pass holders, registration is $25. Awards for “Best Overall Rider” in each division follow the jam sessions. Finals are at the Cabana Bar. Divisions include: men 15 and under snowboard, men 16+ snowboard, men open free ski, and women open snowboard/free ski. DJ Annalyze will spin live on the Red Bull Rhythm Section course.
