If you are jibbing you will want the most centered stance on the board. The further you are toward the nose the more likely you are to go over the nose, and the same with the back. If you have a directional board you will typcially set-up centered in the sidecut radius and not the center of the board. If it is a powder day a lot of people set their bindings back toward the tail to help with nose float.
