Waxing Tip

Thought I would share a tip I have been using on my boards as well as my buddies skis for the last few seasons that provide a professional looking slick finish. After putting a hot coat on and scraping it off, I finish the job by taking a Scotch Bright pad and sticking it to the bottom of my Black and Decker Mouse Sander. I then make long passes up and down the base until it is nice and slick. After I'm finished, the bottom looks just like it did from the factory.
The bottom of the sander is velcro, so the Scotch Brite pad sticks to it easily. This definitely makes waxing easier and it looks like a professional job. I think I paid less than $20 bucks for my sander at Walmart.
