Board / Boot Size Compatibility

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new snowboarder from Kalamazoo, MI. I have a question about snowboard and boot size.

The only other snowboard I've ever owned was a Ride Fleetwood 155 from ages ago with Burton boots size 13.

I did my research and I decided that a GNU Carbon Credit BTX 2011 would be a good fit within my price range and ability. I ordered the 159. Unfortunately, they ran out of stock, so I got a 153 instead.

I measured my foot and the length is 10.5 in, 27 cm. That puts me at a .27. My concern is that my foot will be too large for the smaller board and drag. Is this a likely issue?

Thanks for any advice.
