At 135 lbs., the 159 was probably too big for you, unless you are planning to do nothing but powder surfing. You're near the very bottom of the weight range. The 153 is actually a much better size. In terms of width, you need to figure out what your real boot size is, but if it's actually around a 9, you should be fine on most regular-width boards. Remember that stance width and binding angles come into play here. And a little overhang on each side is normal, and necessary.
