I tried this with mine, but it fits funny. The liner only goes around the bottom of the helmet like a sweatband. When I remove it and wear a beaning it sits too high and the sides don't contact my head. Tough to explain but I feel like i'm wearing one of those old Chinese hats. Though everyones head is shaped different so who knows.
