Hey guys... I have last years model evo. I have ridden it maybe 10 times. I've noticed on the tail, the top sheet is cracking and peeling up. In more than one place. And I havent done anything to cause this. My question is, has anyone else had anything like this happen? And what did you do about it? Is it something that is covered under their warranty?
Haven't really heard about that happening before and my Revolver with 9 days on it looks new. I wouldn't be surprised if it's covered under their warranty but give them a call and see what they say
yea i called them and they said it might be under warranty. i just have to take it in to the so they can look at it. and if its not, i will just epoxy it.
nah man. well i dont know actually. no ones skis or snowboard really even came in contact with my board. not that i remember at least. and yea im hoping they can do something about it. they asked if i landed on the tail off of any jumps or anything to cause the cracks, but i havent even really hit any jumps with this board, so i dont know what they are gonna do. i just kind of noticed the one on the edge last friday when i was riding, and the like out of no where, on saturday i noticed the bigger one more on the tip just appeared out of no where.
thats wierd.. i was looking at my evo the other day and it looks like the tip/tail are filed on 45 deg angle to reduce the risk of top sheet dmg on the lift line. I havnt had any problems with top sheet yet besides my buddy who skis stabbed my deck with his pole by accident lol.. Just a lil scratch tho.. This things a tank
I have '10 Evo and it still looks like new. NS boards are tough like nails. Yours may be one of the few that got a manufacturer's defect. It happens even to the best companies, but they should take care of it
