I was wondering if you guys could shed some light on a little dilemma i have..

I'm from northern Inidana (Fort Wayne) and I plan on heading up to northern Michigan the week after the super bowl. I usually hit up Boyne Mountain/highlands and Nubs Nob once or twice a year but mainly stay around the southern resorts like Bittersweet and Timber Ridge. Well this year my mom wants to go to with me because she's never been to a ski resort and has always wanted to go, I'm not sure why because she can't ski or snowboard. I wanted to try out a place i've never been but It needs to have a lot of activities that someone who doesn't snowboard can do like snow tubing, shopping, and whatnot. Now I'll be spending the entire time from open to close on the hill but want my mom to have a fun as well. Basically what I'm asking is what would be the best resort that offers awesome snowboarding while still providing the best time for a non-snowboarder?

I'm thinking about Crystal Mountain, Shanty Creek, or Caberfae (their website isn't working for some reason). I've never been to any of these resorts and was wondering which you thought was the best or if there was any that i haven't considered. I liked Boyne more than Nubs Nob (I think i preferred highlands over mountain but I might have the two mixed up). How do the three I mentioned compare to Boyne?

Sorry for the long post, I'm just trying to make the best decision
