Just wanted to show everyone this. 2010 Banana Magic delaminating between my bindings. Only ridden like 15 days, and def didn't take any hits to start the seperation. Trying to work everything out with Lib, but I can't find my receipt from last year...I know, totally my bad. Still, I've never had a board delam like this...even after 100+ days on the mountain. I'm hoping they're gonna come through in a pinch, even if it's just a repair and I pay shipping...Beware...$700 snowboards can still fall apart....
Nobody is immune from defects. Not even $700 Lib Techs. What I want to see is how they handle the warranty and how the board rides after they resolve the issue. That will be a good testament to their quality. Until then, I will chalk this one up to a fluke.
Extra0: Guarantee that there is at least one rider out there with the same Omatic as you with the same amount of days that had a problem.
By the way, although hand-built boards are often higher quality, they are more prone to defects due to human error.
It's like this... I am more prone to baking a cake wrong from scratch, but when I do it right... oh boy does it taste better than anything out of a box.
I'll keep everyone posted on how the warranty claim goes. Leo- I agree with you man. I'm honestly not even mad, a little disappointed, but these things happen. Though I've never had a board delam so easy...Hopefully all will go smoothly and they'll help a brother out. Just wanted to let the people on the forum know that shit like this happens, even to a "top of the line" board...
Hope my GNU doesn't run into these kinda issues...
