I ride a 153 k2 podium and I am 5'5" so I am thinking you are going to want to go longer, say 158, 159.

As for the brand, it doesn't really matter since you are new to the sport. If you get a great deal, ride the heck out of it for a year or two, then upgrade to a nicer board that fits your riding style more.

Also, size 10 boots will be fine on any standard size board. I also wear a 10 and I have no problems with toe or heel drag. The footprint on the Burton boots I have is larger than the boots I had before. But, I recentered the boots/bindings over the board and it is fine.
