Night riding is awesome! I think it is my favorite time of the day to ride. Crowds are gone, and I think night people are generally just more chill than the daytime crowd. Here in the northwest, we tend to get the most snowfall durring the night hours so the riding can be epic. Last year, working at Mt. Hood Meadows, I had so many epic pow nights where your tracks fill in by the time you get back to the top of the run. What is also amazing is those cold, clear full moon nights where you can ride anywhere under the stars!
