Ahh...but did you also notice that the cranks are also aligned with the chain stays and they are in the highest gear? I'm on a cycling forum and in the road cycling area it is widely accepted that this is in fact the only acceptable way to photograph your bike.
Note the MTB hasn't been photographed using the same rules.
