Brighton has a nice park setup. Snowbird has literally a small kicker and 2 box rails. I don't know why they even wasted the time to set those features up because nobody uses them.

If you're there for the boarding, then the lack of nightlife won't be a big deal.

I think the SLC ski buses stop running on or about the 1st of April.

A lot of the people who list their properties on VRBO.com offer reduced rates for extended stays (2 weeks or more). There are lots of places for rent there you might find a good bargain if you make some phone calls.
