IMHO when it comes to snowboarding I find that once you get it, you've got it. Similar to what EastSide said previously it's all about 'sipping that cup of concrete, and hardening the fu*k up' to get something new and somewhat 'gnarly' done!
All about them 'kahones'...
Over the course of 10.11 season I have progressed rapidly. It's a strange feeling looking back at where I use to be, starting out, those J turns, etc. Now, attempting anything in sight w/o a second thought (w/in reason, as to preservation of life).
Is it 'fear or lack thereof' that separates extreme skiers/boarders from the everyday skier/boarder, or 'reason/logic'...
I'd like to think that I'm not scared and that 'reason' is why I don't huck off anything w/ a 20ft drop @... then again... who knows? Still a 'rookie' in many ways.
