I'm considering on getting a new board this season. I'm

5'9
62 kg
8.5 US

I would say I'm an intermediate. I picked up the sport last season and progressed pretty well. My current board is a 05/06 5150 Nomad 151. I am more of a freeride-all mountain rider.

Using the Custom X as a reference, the finder gave me a 152. I understand that you generally size up for freeride and pow. In that case, would I be looking at the next size up, 156?
