it probably would be fine depending on your style one of my friends is 6'1 and 200 and rides a 156 and its fine throwing 7s and backflip 3s so i think you should be fine
It'll work fine, hell you could ride a 148 if you wanted to. You'll just need to understand that if you are on the heavier end of the weight scale for that board, the board is going to be slightly softer or flexier than it's described as. This is because the board will flex more under your weight than it would for someone that is say 180#.
You really need to look at what kind of riding you do. If you're into park/freestyle, 158 is probably a decent length for you. If you are looking for a freeride board though, you'll probably be much happier on something that is 164+ I would say 164-166.
I'm 200# for example, and I ride a 162 all mountain board.
