I'm 5'9ish and 175#'s....my previous ride and the only other board I have ever ridden was a 159 Burton Custom that was about 10 years old. Looking back the board did feel pretty big for me. I ride pretty much all mountain and like to bomb down the hill hitting natural jumps and what not. I'm not a big park guy.

So would a 158 be suitable? Or should I go to a 155?
I'm 5'9 and 150.. I rode a 155 SL last year and it never felt too big for me. At your weight and riding style I would get the 158.

With the RC tech the SL will be easier to maneuver than your Custom (camber).
