Dude, anything out on the west coast is steeper than 80% of lift served Colorado! That must have been a shocker for you.

Mary Jane has some good lift served steep tree terrain, Beaver Creek does too. Steamboat has some fun stuff.

Jackson is the place for Rocky Mtn Steep.

there are many places here in CO that have good hike to areas and above treeline.

Brek, Keystone, Snowmass, buttermilk, are flat, hell even Vail is flat and cat tracked.

Lift Served.
