Default Calling All Coda Riders!

I wont be getting the opportunity to test a Coda in the UK so I’m looking for advice from those that have. I’m looking at a Coda or maybe a Never Summer SL – something with rocker, more playful and freestyle orientated than my cambered (and quite stiff) Arbor Element. I know the Coda rides well in powder, but what I’m left wondering about it’s all mountain freestyle performance.

I’ve heard the flex is comparable to an SL, even that it’s got more flex than the Element, although Arbor say different. I’ve seen it advertised as an all mountain freestyle board as well as freeride….

I like the sound of Arbor’s continuous rocker for buttering about and would definitely downsize from a 158 (165lb size 11 US) to a 155. Arbor have told me to look at the Blacklist or Westmark instead, and I have. I’ve ridden a 154 Proto and had great fun on it, also a 158 SL and not as much fun, but still I keep coming back to the Coda. Love this years graphics and the fact I can get it cheaper than any of the other boards.

Are there any riders who can tell me about the flex and playfulness of this board? Does anyone use it for all mountain freestyle rather than charging hard? Don’t get me wrong, I hope to do both, but am hoping the Coda will be more fun, easier to spin and butter etc than my existing setup.
Thanks.
