I've been to Alyeska a couple of times already, its nice for sure though both times I went the conditions weren't ideal. Lots of ice up top and Slurpee type of ice slush down low.....I have never seen the "backside" open that Snowolf shreds all the time, would love to sample that side of the mountain since all I did on the tram ride up is pick out lines. Definitely a nice place. I've also been to Eaglecrest down in Juneau. Love the terrain there and all the side country stuff they offer, and conditions were ideal both days I went. One day it was snowed 12", the next day was Bluebird
So I am planning on riding in Fairbanks, will travel with gear!
