Unhappy 1st day of the season ..... broken arm

Yeah last run of the day first day of the season ... I did a ,gap to down, board slide had to much speed cleared way to much of the down box, didnt have time to finnish it and slipped backwards onto my arm lol and broke it i guess. hurt quite a bit. Not going to lie I just kinda pain angeled for 3 seconds got up laughing and went on the run to the car... only after I took my glove off and realized my wrist was broken or sprained or something like that like a golfball at the end of my wrist . I decided to wait it out a night. today i found out I had a ``buckle fracture`` or somthing and a pinched nerve in my wrist. They say it will be 2 weeks till the cast is off and maximum of 4 weeks after. does anyone have experience with this? can I ride with a cast? Iv seen pros do it like jeremy jones and stuff is it recommended. would you guys say its nesesarely a bad idea even with the cast off right away? lol I drew a diagram the jump is to big but it is a tri incline. Sucks it happend on such a easy trick... and one I was landing all day...
