Level 1 Avalanche Safety Course at KSS

A Level 1 Avalanche Safety course will take place at the Keystone Science School on December 16-18. The course will cost $350. The cost of the course includes instruction by highly qualified instructors, transportation to and from field session locations, course textbook, field guide, and certificate of course completion. All participants must come prepared for backcountry travel in avalanche terrain, and must bring a beacon, shovel, probe, slope meter, and day pack.
