We usually stay at Tahoe for two weeks, so we get a Snow Bomb card. You can get a free one online, but the deals aren't as plentiful. If you get a paid Snow Bomb card ($60 last time we went) it comes with a free lift ticket to somewhere, and then there are discounts at various mountains on different days. Check 'em out at Snowbomb.com. You never know...the first year we went they were doing an online slot machine promo...just keep playing, eventually you'll win. We got two free tix to Heavenly. And Shell stations were offering 2-for-1 Northstar tix with min. 10 gallons, but since you won't have a car that doesn't help you. With the economy sucking, I'd bet there will be a few deals this year. Spend some time with the google. You'll probably be able to find something.
