I appreciate everyone who has commented on the thread. I always lock my board wherever I go and am paranoid about things like this happening, so it is ironic that it happens when I'm barely able to walk and worrying about what my fate is. The last thing I was thinking about was my board since the injury was traumatic enough to go to the clinic to get xrays.

I arrived dazed + confused in a shuttle from the base and Nev set the boards in a rack tucked away outside of the clinic. The only direct line of sight to the boards was from 2 stories up in some kind of apartment/condo building adjacent to the clinic, so we think it was someone who saw us unload and went for an opportunity to get some new equipment.

The staff at the clinic said there was no camera outside so there is no way anything was caught on video. Bummer.

My best guess is that the person / persons live in that adjacent building. It's the perfect scenario for a crime if someone runs downstairs knowing that a person will be admitted and get treatment. Be careful if you end up here as our boards are now in the hands of some scumbag.

Anyway, we'll be scouring craigslist and ebay + Nev will be on the lookout. Whoever took these boards had the knowledge, opportunity, and plan to steal high end equipment from a very risky place.

Hopefully this isn't a frequent recurring thing but something tells me that our boards are going to be ridden by locals on the mountain who were looking for an equipment upgrade.
