From what I remember, a couple of the "peaks" were over 1000' tall. It would be pretty cool to do a man vs. nature trip out there on a splitboard setup... You'd have to camp overnight and what not, as the peaks are deep into the private property.

Yeah I have heard about some stuff like that, not sure about the Ford connection but that private sportsmen club kind of rings a bell with me. IDK if I would bother investing in a splitboard. Probably I would support some local business and get a pair of Marquette Backcountry skis
