If it looks dry, wax it. Probably just edge-burn, meaning edges are dry, like I said, wax it. Fine scratches? Bases are 'structured' meaning they have tiny grooves. Makes em faster.

The GNU? Photos to show what you are talking about would help (good, clear ones too)
