Board Angle question

So i've read some of the threads around here thought I'd post for my situation. I'm a beginner and really looking to start out with all mountain/freeride type riding for a start. I started out with +15/0 on my bindings (regular stance) and just didn't feel comfortable point my board down the hill. I know I have a natural duck stance (both my feet point outwards quite naturally) so I reduced the front angle to something quite small. I was wondering if I should try something like +15/+6 (so not 0 at the back) or if I should try a duck stance +15/-9 or so. I'd like to learn the fundamentals properly, I've sometimes read that people learn with the forward directional stance and then switch, that said I have quite a pronounced duck stance naturally. Any tips?
