A little bit of both. I have a love/hate relationship with the GoPro because it really does get good footage but it mounts so hideously and is kind of awkward to use as a handheld.

The contour is the new new for me since I used the GoPro all of last season. I wanted to use the Contour and really test it out and see what sort of footage I get with it. The first few times I used it I really didn't get much - if anything - worth keeping, but Monday's footage came out pretty decent.

Even though the FOV is not as wide as the GoPro, you'll notice in the follow-cam shots of me that it still has that "far away" look to it but it is not as pronounced of a fisheye effect as the GoPro. I zoomed the raw footage to compensate for this a little bit. I followed Jesse a little closer so the footage of him is generally a bit tighter in frame.
