Just got my Horrorscope FK and wondering if i should get it detuned or not. Not sure because the contact points arent in the same place as in a traditional camber board. Capita Flat Kick seems really subtle. The tip and tail just go up a tiny bit.
If you're going to be doing lots of rails, sure. I'd leave the contact points a little sharp so you can still turn it but detune the length of it. If you're detunning just so you don't catch an edge on snow I wouldn't bother since the reverse camber and FK should provide a pretty catch free ride.
Actually as I'm checking out the board more it seems like Capita set it up for park a little from the factory. This is the first Capita board that I have ever seen where the edges arent razors. Every other one Ive used or seen has had ridiculous sharp edges all around. This one is only sharp on the contact points and in the middle. The tip and tail edges are really dull for a brand new board. The dullness starts right where the board starts to curl up and the flat kick starts.
I didnt even check the edges cause i just assumed they would be razors. Interesting...
you should be fine with the urban FK in the horror....id just prob bevel the edges 2 degree to help save u on rails....
