The only other thing I've just noticed (not sure if it has to do with the fact that it's a rental board or not), is that the top's finish doesn't seem to have that fiberglass/plastic feel that most boards have. Instead, it feels very wooden/grippy, almost like that of the top of a skateboard deck. do some boards come this way or did they perhaps forget to add the fiberglass portion?


Here is the one website I found that still has this board listed. Does it show any reason why this thing has more of a wood top than fiberglass?
