Yea that tour is really very simple anyone with a backcountry trail map\compass\GPS and experience can easily do it on their own, but I think some of the cost of the tour includes lift rides to make the trip easier\faster.

Not all the resorts out here offer single lift ride tickets like Brighton :-(
