I have two days off work and want to take my girlfriend to snowbird in Utah for her birthday. (maybe pick up a couple wives while i'm there

Looking at the lodging options and the snowbird website I am a little confused (or just a little stupid.) I want to avoid renting a car and I plan on renting gear. I am just staying for one night so a couple day passes is all I am getting.
What should I be looking at for lodging? How are the rentals? Logistically am I facing a nightmare or is it pretty simple?
EDIT: The days I plan on going would be on a tuesday/wednesday. Hoping to avoid crowds. Unsure if they have any midweek deals anywhere though.
