I find this years split strap stays fine on my boot, but i think it depends on the specific boot whether or not you'll have problems. In the Atlas baseplate it has 2 slots to place the toe strap. In my opinion the slot furthest towards the end of the toe works best with their strap, because it puts it at an angle where it won't slip, pulling it straight down on the toe box. This is how I run it on my SL's and its super responsive.

The contact and force baseplate don't have this option, so the strap comes from more of a capped angle, and depending on the boot shape, may be susceptible to slipping. I went and bought the burton get-a-grip strap for my Force and it works perfectly. I figured it was worth the $30.

Snowolf has a review coming on them soon so look for that, I know I'm interested in what he thought of them freeriding.
