snowvols

Hey guys
So I have always wanted to go to Alaska, and I am thinking of going there probably the fall after I graduate. I am wanting to kayak around some glaciers and maybe some backpacking. Maybe even hit up a resort there. I have been doing a lot of research and I was just wondering if you think I should do one of the trips that include both or go by myself with someone else. I would say I have excellent survival skills, but just wanting opinions of other people. Sorry it's kind of a long post. Any input is appreciated
