Reno and Carson are about it. You do have the the East shore areas which for the most part are in the state of Nevada. I believe Incline is part of that. In reality, there are not very many good jobs around the lake. The good ones that are there open for about 2 seconds before the next person fills it for the next 30 years.

Reno gives you better access to North Shore areas. Squaw, Alpine, Sugar Bowl, Northstar, Donner. I'd even throw Homewood in there.

Carson City puts Heavenly, Sierra, and Kirkwood within reach. Though Kirkwood is a decent drive from Carson City.
