Seriously though, I think you guys are putting balls and mindset way ahead of things like knowledge/training/experience (the things that make people competent in the occupational health and safety world). On the other hand I tend to ride noticably tamer if nobody's watching, so I guess at some level it's balls/adrenaline/outright flaming attention whoring.

I know there are times of the year and times of the day that my head is ahead of my body, I've got the skill but the muscles don't do what the head tells them to anymore, and sometimes it's the other way around. I know after 20 years I should be totally comfortable blasting huge air in the park. In the powder bowls I do it off natural features without hesitation, but my mind has some sort of block on big kickers. Guess I gotta work on the balls.
