Loveland is generally the first resort open and it is almost always the wrod. They open in October though, and by late November they often have a lot more snow. Maybe half the mountain open.

Wolf Creek by Thanksgiving is often 100% open with a 40-60" base. That place just gets hammered with snow. It's the best early season bet out there.
