Obviously the buckwild slays the park, but does anyone know how it performs on the rest of the mountain? Mostly on piste stuff, poppin of of everything in site. Seems like a pretty solid one board quiver.
I haven't ridden the Buckwild, BA has I think, and I know he's ridden the Rook. I'd guess the Buckwild is stiffer overall and poppier, but the Rooks snap is eaiser to get to. The Rooks sidecut is a bit deeper but the waists are similar. So you'll maybe be able to rail a little harder on the Rook and the Ride might be a bit more stable off edge, but based on the Rides I've ridden and having ridden the Rook, I bet I'd like the Rook more. It was a really solid board and one of the funnest boards to jump I've ridden the last few years.
