both my boys are sporting Flux bindings. One is the RK30 the other is SE30 they ride all mountain and have never had an issue with them being to soft or flexy.
We ride mainly Alpine Valley just north of you but we do take trips to some better local hills. Nothing out west so I can't comment on that.

I ride the banana and love that board. It has held up very well to the park, jumps and nasty conditions we have here in WI. The magnatraction has worked very well for me. There are better boards out there. I am not as well versed in the gear as many of the younger more experienced riders on the forum, but I feel the Banana has gotten a bum wrap but that is just me and as said there are better boards out there. This one has worked well for me.
