For your weight the 162 is the better choice I think. the custom is an all round board, good for everything, and would be a great board for an intermediate rider

custom x is stiffer than the custom, its more for riding fast and aggressive turning than for playing around, it will be stable at high speeds but won't be as easy to do tricks like buttering

note these are both cambered boards, both would be very good for riding the resort, if you are lucky and you can often get out on your dream slope of untouched golden powder then consider a pure powder board like burton fish (still cambered), or barracuda (has some rocker in it, rocker is generally better in powder)

Others on this board can suggest many good non-burton alternatives
