Hey 32 NJ guy here. I first went snowboarding at Stratton VT in 2009 -2010 season and fell in love. Best thing I did was take a private lesson.I have since committed myself to learning as much as I can both on and off season. I was a longboard rider so that def helped. In the 2010 I took that one step further by buying a freebord. So by the time the 2010-2011 season came I was ripping (for a newbie). Hitting all blues and some diamonds as well. This year I bought a camber board to learn how to get some speed. My other goal for this year is to learn how to hit jumps better. My long term goal is to get good enough to go backcountry riding before I get too old to do so....remember I am already 32 and that is old! lol thanks I look forward to some great advice.
