I'm getting more and more hooked on the Skate banana. The only thing is that I'm afraid that it might be too stiff, since it's about a 5-6 depending on size. And as Snowwolf mentioned, I should be looking at a softer board. What do you think?

Anyway, 12 years experience in skiing, second year on a board..
I guess you don't fear speeding and you are good at 'reading' the slopes..
all stiffness around medium will do. 4 is more playful and 6 is more speeding.
Don't look too much at all the marketing. There are too many choices.
You will only know how each technology or brand compares if you got to ride them all.
Buy a board with medium flex or near medium and get used to that board.
In your case I would first look for the perfect boots.
If there is not any available for your foot-width then you will end up with a bigger boot. Boot overhang will then come into play...
