Have to love the System of a Down. I personally think on a medicinal level marijuana should be legalized nationwide. There are over 170 different medical uses for the plant. I wrote a college term paper comparing the differences between pharmaceutical drugs and cannabis. What I learned was astonishing. As for recreational use I think you could make arguments for both sides. I see it as something that could be taxed and regulated like things such as alcohol and tobacco. There has never been a case of someone dying from marijuana overdose. People who are high on marijuana don't go out and commit hate crimes like someone who is drunk or high on other drugs.
