Jay Peak! Far enough north that you might have a better chance of good snow, plus the new resort is awesome. Huge indoor water park attached to the hotel that stays open until 10:00, with a stationary wave for "surfing," and three or four giant water slides, with a bar overlooking the whole setup. We stayed last January and it was great. Everything is brand new, they basically re-built the place from the ground up. Epic terrain (I think the best in Vermont when the conditions are right). Lots of package deals include room/lift tix/water park. Jay was my favorite place in Vermont even before the renovations; now it's really worth the long drive. Bring your passport and you can hit up Sutton mountain, across the Canadian border; smaller, but fun. It's like you're in France.
