Basically, if you want to kick up a wave of snow spray, you need speed for energy and when you are ready to spray, you aggressively turn into a hard side slipping turn with a high edge angle. As you go into this turn, you would push the rear foot toward the outside of the turn to really dig deep into the snow. Your momentum, edge angle and tail skid will get a decent wall of snow moving to the outside of the turn. The spray is created with the tail of the board.

If you are wanting to do this in order to spray people, a couple of things to think about...don`t do this to people you don`t know, it may produce an unpredictable reaction at best. When doing it for fun to horse around, keep in mind that any error can mean a loss of control and if your momentum is targeted toward the person, you could slam into them at a high rate of speed and cause serious injury. Just use your head and make sure you don`t create a dangerous situation should you loose control for any reason..
