I think most manufacturers say wipe with the microfibre cloth ONLY, no moisture of any kind. There's usually an anti-fog coating that's easy to rub off. I've got the same problem with my goggles, had some snow get in there on a good wipeout and now I've got little fisheyes on the inside. I refuse to wipe it out because it'll screw up the anti-fog.
