^ definitely. I got a brand new bright red jacket a couple years ago and, the first day riding in it, I got a huge black smudge of oil on the back from the lifts. Slayed me when it happened, but now that the jacket is older and worn/frayed, I don't care (adds character, actually)
don't blame you for wanting bright colors (look cool and are safer/more visible), but a jacket with some sort of dark print on top of the color will handle dirt better.
used to wear sessions, but their stuff is way heavy..at least it used to be. Unless things have changed the past couple years, sessions jackets usually don't have powder skirts (decon does) and their pants never have powder skirt loops...in case you buy a jacket that has a skirt. I'm wearing 686 now.
