I feel like I am in the middle of 2 sizes.

I can get away with a size L, it's snug.

When I try on an XL the helmet doesn't shift on my head, but the ear flaps are not snug on my ears. I fear that if I don't wear a tuque under it my ears will get cold.

Does this mean the helmet is too big and I should stick with a L?
